Rescue Pet Wednesday: 7/29/15

Hi! I'm Lessa

Welcome once again to Rescue Pet Wednesday, the day when I feature adoptable rescue pets from around the country. If you want to help you can adopt your own rescue pet, donate to an important animal rescue organization, or consider fostering a pet in need of a temporary good home or volunteering at your local animal rescue or humane society. I hope you enjoy the adorable rescue pets that are featured here!

The sweet girl in the picture above is Lessa, a 3 year old Siberian Husky Mix. She weighs about 35 pounds and is very energetic. Lessa loves kids and is good with dogs. She may also be good around cats, although she hasn't been cat-tested yet. She adores cuddling with people and is very playful. Lessa is currently staying at the Free Spirit Siberian Rescue in Harvard, Illinois.

If you are interested in adopting Lessa you can fill out an adoption application. You can also donate to the Free Spirit Siberian Rescue at their website. Donations are always welcome to help cover the costs of vaccinations, spay/neuters, and medical care for special needs pets.

Hello, I'm Boo Kitty

This is Boo Kitty, an adult female Domestic Short Hair. She's a very small and sweet little girl and is looking for a good home to call her own. She is housetrained, spayed, and current on her vaccinations. Boo Kitty is at the Briggs Animal Adoption Center in Charles Town, West Virginia right now.

You can fill out an adoption application for Boo Kitty online. You can also donate to the Briggs Animal Adoption Center on their website so they can continue their important work of helping animals.

Meet Little Guy!

This is Little Guy, a young male French Lop. He's very small, weighing only 4 pounds and is an adorable fellow. Little Guy loves to hop around, explore, and be petted, although he's not as fond of being picked up. His favorite things are cilantro, timothy hay, and napping. He has also been neutered. Little Guy is currently staying with the House Rabbit Society NM in Placitas, New Mexico.

If you want to adopt Little Guy you can email Criss to find out more. You can also donate to the House Rabbit Society NM and learn more about their organization at their website.

If you're looking to adopt a rescue pet there are a lot of great resources to help you find one. You can contact your local animal rescue or humane society or look online on a website such as Petfinder.
