Rescue Pet Wednesday

Hi! My name is Nala-Lilo...

Hi, everyone! I am introducing a special weekly feature here at Girlz Best Friend! It's called Rescue Pet Wednesday and it's going to be an article every Wednesday featuring adoptable rescue pets in need of a good home. I hope these posts will help facilitate more pet adoptions in addition to raising awareness of shelter pets around the world. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

Our first adoptable pet is Nala-Lilo, an adorable Pit Bull Terrier Mix from the Luvum All Animal Rescue in Marine City, Michigan. She's a young female who is in need of a loving home. Nala is house-trained and spayed and she has been given basic obedience training. She will come when she's called, walks politely on a leash, and will ring a bell to say when she needs to go potty. Nala loves to cuddle, fetch tennis balls, and play with stuffed animal toys.

If you would like to adopt Nala or sponsor her (or any rescue pet) please contact the Luvum All Animal Rescue.

Hello! We are Bro and Humphrey!

The Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue in Auburn, Washington has tons of adoptable guinea pigs including these two cuties, Bro and Humphrey. Bro is an orange and white adult male guinea pig and Humphrey is a young cream and white male.

To adopt Bro and Humphrey or give a much needed donation please contact the Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue.

My name is Lily!

This is Lily, a black and white Domestic Short-Hair kitten. Lily was rescued as a very young baby with her mom and siblings and now she's looking for a fun home filled with lots of love. She is with the S.A.V.E. animal rescue in Jacksonville, Florida right now.

If you would like to adopt Lily, or donate to S.A.V.E., please visit their website or send them an email.

To find a wonderful rescue pet near your home please visit Petfinder. You can search by location, breed, size, age, or just about any other category!

Thank you!
