Summer is a perfect time to spend long, romantic evenings with a significant other. Walking on the beach, kissing under the stars, watching fireworks snuggled under a blanket... There are so many possibilities for perfect moments. I'm currently in a long-distance relationship and, although we talk on the phone almost every night, I can't wait for the day that I can do all those things with my sweetheart in person!

4. Amazing sunsets
Here in Michigan we can get the most beautiful sunsets during the summer. It will seem like the entire sky is awash with flaming shades of fuchsia, crimson, and purple. It makes me want to share a kiss with a special someone while we watch the sun sink beneath the horizon.

Rain isn't just the "bad" weather which ruins people's summer plans, it can also be nourishing and rejuvenating. Rain is also the perfect excuse to spend a lazy summer day inside, curled up under a blanket and catching up on an exciting novel. That sounds fun...
