Rescue Pet Wednesday: 7/8/15

Hi! My name is Tomato!

It's a day late this week because of all the after-holiday business, but it's finally time for Rescue Pet Wednesday (on Thursday). I hope you enjoy browsing all these pictures of adorable, and adoptable, rescue pets from around the country. If you want to help you should consider adopting a rescue pet, volunteering at your local humane society or animal rescue, fostering a pet while it looks for its forever home, or donating to one of the non-profit organizations who devote their lives to caring for rescue animals. Thanks for reading! Enjoy...

The adorable kitty in the photo above is Tomato, a male domestic-shorthair kitten. He's an outgoing, playful, and brave boy! Tomato is currently at the Home Fur Now Rescue, Inc in Holbrook, New York.

If you are interested in adopting Tomato please send an email to request an adoption form. You can also learn more about A Home Fur Now Rescue or make a donation at their website.

Hello, my name is Cecily!

This is Cecily, a female black Labrador Retriever. She is really sweet and absolutely loves any kind of attention. Cecily enjoys going for long walks and is very playful too. She's currently with the Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta, Georgia.

If you're interested in adopting Cecily you can visit the Lifeline Animal Project's website. You can also make a donation there or learn more about the Lifeline Animal Project's mission to make Atlanta a no-kill city.

Here's Scooter!

This is Scooter, an adult male goat. He's about six years old and is a little bit shy. Scooter is not aggressive at all and needs a caring and loving home. He has horns and would love to join a home with other horned goats which he can have as playmates. Scooter is currently staying with the Midwest Farm Animal Rescue in Mondovi, Wisconsin.

If you are interested in adopting Scooter you can send Candy an email.

If you want to find an adoptable pet in your area, Petfinder is a great resource. You can search by location, breed, age, size, gender, etc... Thanks for checking out Rescue Pet Wednesday and remember that there are many different ways that you can help rescue animals!
